What’s included
Free, unlimited resizing for the lifetime of the ring. Up by two sizes, down by two sizes, as many times as you need it. There is no time limit, no “first 12 months only” clause, and no charge for the resize itself, the return shipping, or the insurance both ways.
The only thing we ask is that you’ve worn the ring for at least four weeks before the first resize — fingers settle into a new band, and most people find their “real” size after a few weeks of normal wear.
How it works
- Step 1. Drop us an email at sales@harveymueller.com.au or call 1300 977 619. We’ll confirm the new size and send a prepaid, insured satchel.
- Step 2. Drop the ring in the satchel and post it at your nearest Australia Post outlet. The satchel is fully tracked and insured to full value.
- Step 3. We’ll resize, re-polish, and re-inspect within seven business days of receipt.
- Step 4. Back to your door by insured courier, signature on receipt. Total time, door to door, is typically 10–14 days.
Plan your timing. While the ring is with us you won’t have it on your hand. If there’s a date you’d like it back by — an anniversary, a holiday — tell us when you post it and we’ll work to it.
What we can’t do for free
Major changes to the design — adding stones, changing the band profile, converting a solitaire to a halo — are different from a resize and are quoted separately. We’ll always tell you up front whether what you’re asking for is a resize, a re-make, or something in between.
Accidental damage (a dropped stone, a bent prong from a knock, a deeply scratched band) is not free but is heavily discounted for our own clients. We’ll quote case-by-case after inspection.
